Founder

Ryan Lotzof

A temporary site doesn’t mean a substandard solution. That’s the idea Ryan and Michael pioneered when they built Mobile CCTV Solutions in 2016, and it’s why our camera trailers, pole cameras and Mobile Operations Centre deliver full coverage where there’s no mains power, no fixed network and nobody nearby. Ryan is the front line who ensures they stay powered and connected wherever they’re sent, and the reason clients know their call gets answered at any hour.

People regularly call him the Unicorn. It started because he kept delivering things clients believed couldn’t be done, in timeframes they didn’t think were possible, and it stuck because he keeps delivering on it. Replying to a client in the middle of the night is normal for him. So is jumping on a plane to Kalgoorlie or Groote Eylandt with just hours’ notice.

Ryan’s an electrician by trade with almost 20 years in security, most of it alongside Michael. In business Ryan knows what a client on a deadline needs: a straight answer, fast, from someone who can make the decision.

He co-designs the power and connectivity behind our whole range: solar, battery storage and generator auto-start that keep equipment running off-grid for as long as you need it, remote monitoring around the clock, and live footage in front of the right people wherever your site is.

He’s also the person you’ll first chat to about your requirements. Ryan works directly with councils, government departments, construction companies and event organisers, so the mix of camera trailers, pole cameras and Mobile Operations Centre you’re recommended comes from someone who knows exactly what each one can do. That’s the case at Canterbury-Bankstown’s Ramadan Nights, the City of Ryde’s Granny Smith Festival and the TCS Sydney Marathon, and on sites that run from one day to several months.

So when you talk to Ryan, you’re not just speaking to a qualified electrician, you are talking to someone who’s built and installed the equipment himself, can make the call on the spot, and will still be answering his phone long after it’s on your site. If he says it’ll be done, it’s done and that’s why every client has rebooked.

Michael Malligan

A temporary site should never mean substandard security. For years it did. If you ran a street festival, a construction site or a remote worksite, nothing on the market could give you the coverage a permanent venue takes for granted. You got less, and the industry accepted it.

Michael Malligan didn’t. He knew what the standard should be, because he works to it every day. So in 2016 he and Ryan Lotzof, a fellow electrician he had worked alongside in security for almost 20 years, built what was missing.

Michael is an alarm technician and electrician by trade, with decades in high-quality security and personal protection. He builds the systems, and he runs the operations that depend on them.

Qudos Bank Arena (now Afterpay Arena), Australia’s largest indoor arena, has been his security client for close to two decades. He designed and built its security control room, its CCTV and its facial recognition technology, and his team continue to service all of it.

His protection work runs from one person to an entire line-up. He protects high-profile, high-risk and high-net-worth individuals. Several NRL teams bring him in to consult and protect. He travels domestically and internationally with sporting teams and touring music acts, and he owns Anchor Security, a team of more than 120.

Councils and law enforcement rely on Michael’s guidance. At major events they work side by side with medical and security teams from our Mobile Operations Centre. One council has worked with us for nine years, and its coverage is now six times what it started with.

Construction companies, ports, mines and government departments across Australia use what Michael and Ryan built too. At the Bathurst 1000 Supercars, much of Mount Panorama had no CCTV at all, so we bring it all in: pole cameras, camera trailers and our Mobile Operations Centre, in a setup that has grown with every booking.

Whether your site stands for a day or for months, it gets the same standard. Every client we’ve worked with has rebooked.
